Aha! Thats something new....  Currently, default.printer.font is "Install".
However, setting this to "Courier-regular-10" still fails to render fixed
pitch output....  Again, setting print.font does not seem to affect the
output either.  Every page I've printed used the same proportional spaced
font, never changing in point size or any other attribute.  The only setting
that I saw that changed the output was the option in LPEX Print to tokenize
the listing.  This caused shading and colorization of the output.
Otherwise, its the same old font.

The underlying Eclipse platform doesn't have a font selection dialog for 
printers yet.  By default, the current display font (as set via "Window" 
 > "Preferences" > "LPEX Editor" > "Appearance" > "Change...") is used 
for printing as well.  The printer may not support the same fonts, 
though, in which case it will use its default font (usually not a fixed 
pitch one...).

Try a few variations from the LPEX command line of the indented view (or 
any other view for that matter), for example:

    print.font "Courier New-10"
    print.font "Courier-8"

If you hit on an acceptable non proportional printer font, you can make 
the setting permanent, for example:

    default.print.font "Courier New-8"
