The QRSEEXEC program is used to submit the compile, so it not existing is why things are working screwy. You get that program by installing licensed program 5722WDS Option 60. What I would recommend, however, is that within RSE you right-click on the iSeries Objects subsystem and choose Verify Connection. This will tell you all of the licensed programs and PTF's that are required and missing. I will be creating and maintaining RPG, RPG IV and RPG ILE programs. 1. When I went to compile one of the programs it submits to the iSeries. What library list does it use? Can I use my initial library list on my iSeries user profile? 2. The job log of the submittd compiled errored out on the following. QRSEEXEC not found in QDEVTOOLS. What is this and how do I get this on my system? I have the QDEVTOOLS library. 3. In the iSeries command log it displayed the compile submit job command then it diplayed the command again with the message that it Completed. But when I went to the green screen there was a job log that stated the problem in question #2. Why didn't it tell that the command failed? _______________________________________________ This is the Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries (WDSCI-L) mailing list To post a message email: WDSCI-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/wdsci-l or email: WDSCI-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/wdsci-l.
