I'm not sure about the various ways to install a Webfaced project. However, in general, if you are installing to WAS or WASE, you probably want to install as an EAR file instead of a WAR file. Use the WAR file to install in Apache Jakarta Tomcat. From what I have found in the documentation and in = the Redbooks, you are supposed to export the WebFacing project to a WAR fil e, then use either the Admin Console or Server Admin to install. = This works just fine, but it would seem to be a better sol= ution to be able to use the Server within WDSC to deploy. When I try = to do this, WDSc says that the Agent Controller(?) is not running/installed= . I cannot find anything on the Agent Controller within the documenta= tion on this.
