I think what you can do is rename the .config folder, and then launch WDSC.
It'll recreate the .config folder and hopefully you won't have lost
anything.  Nothing will be expanded so it may look like you've lost your
connections, filters, etc but I think you'll find them once you expand the
connections.

Searching the archives for crash will probably bring up a lot of posts.

This is new to me. JLPEX was acting funny. It looked like I was always
trying to highlight text even though the I wasn't pressing the mouse
button, so I closed the workbench. Now when I try to restart it, I get
'Unable to read workbench state. Workbench UI layout will be reset'. I
press OK and I get 'Unable to recreate perspective.' Can I recover from
this or do I have to reinstall?
