Thanks Kelly. Some times.... just sometimes..... I looked in all
of the places that I thought that it should be and nothing....
and when I attempted to search help... the two thousand entries
were too much to look through, I wish there was a way to sort
help by main topic....

Ronald,
Go to Preferences->Remote Series->iSeries->LPEX Editor Parsers.
You can
uncheck "Show date area" but I do not believe you can remove line
numbers.
