Sign on screen error messages ?

When a user enters some incorrect data at the
generated signon screen, there is no indication that
anything has gone wrong. The screen just remains
static.

I've found 2 .jsps generated in a webfacing
project. passwordfailure.jsp and changepassword.jsp,
so it seems incorrect signon data is handled, but I
can't find where or how these are invoked.

Has anyone else had these .jsps invoked ?
