The WDSCi group has been very open about acknowledging problems, promising fixes, and indicating certain features will be available in a future release. It's nice to know our collective voice is heard in Toronto. Bugs and fixes are a part of the life of all code. I am sure there is a considerable amount of red tape involved in releasing a service pack of any size, and service pack preparation could affect the availability of future releases. However, given IBM's push on this product, the complexity of the product, and the fact that it's currently Windows-based, I'd like to see a commitment to a service pack every 90 days or less. If we assume 5,000 active users of the product, and if those 5,000 users have to wait an average of 50 days for a fix.well, the cumulative loss of productivity gets to be scary (obviously the Microsoft security guys haven't seen this equation). -reeve
