Unless there is an authority or lock issue, I've never had a problem with recompiling a logical file with the plain old CRTLF command. This sounds like a problem with WDSC. Thanks, Mark Mark D. CRTLF does not have a REPLACE() parm, the LF has to be deleted with DLTF. Sounds like IBM doesn't have anything special in there to do this? I usually use our product, TurnOver, when compiling and it handles all of that for me so I am not sure what IBM does from RSE. Do I need to set a preference somewhere else, or is this the way it works? (Also, I noticed that the iSeries Commands Log does not include the CPF msg. It would be nice if it did.)
