In the command execution preferences, I have checked 'Replace object' but
when I compile a logical file I get an error message that the file can't be
created because it already exists.

Do I need to set a preference somewhere else, or is this the way it works?

(Also, I noticed that the iSeries Commands Log does not include the CPF
msg. It would be nice if it did.)

Thanks,

Phil
