As Mark points out, the "official" solution from the IBM team is to rename the .config folder. When I talked to the guys in the lab, they said that this is the safest way to attempt a rebuild (short of starting a new workspace from scratch). I've used this technique a couple of times in the last few weeks, and it seems to work just fine. Twice I lost all the perspectives (I got the "unable to open perspective" message) and was able to recover by renaming the .config folder, restarting WDSC, and then going into each perspective and selecting "Reset Perspective". This even worked on my custom perspectives! (Although as a side note, I'm still looking for the place where an icon is assigned to a perspective. If anyone has found that, please let me know!) Joe
