Joe,

I'm not sure that is the 'official' fix for a mixed up configuration, it
might depend on what made it mixed up. Of course, it is hard to argue with
something that works!

Hi Eric!

They do indeed seem to be linked, because the two workspaces I had saved
with the broken preferences now come up fine. Well, not quite fine -
they come up with the LPEX plugin issue, but despite the broken plugin,
the preferences all are magically fixed and the custom perspectives
restored.

So, just so I'm sure about this - what's the official fix when you get a
mixed up configuration? Is it as easy as Mark suggests: simply copy the
.config folder from the .metadata of a good workspace to that of a
broken one?

Joe
