Jon,

I have experienced occurrences where programs fail to verify but compile. To
correct it I had to clear the cache and then verify. It usually occurs when
I've changed a file layout after it has been added to the cache.

This afternoon a couple of verifies failed for me. The files were not
reported as "missing" but all the fields in the files were reported as "not
defined". Yet the program compiles fine with the LIBL.

Checked outline view (and refreshed same) and for each database file, only
the file and record format names show .... no fields! The only exception is
the display file which has all formats and all records showing.

Selected the file from the RSE view and asked to show in table - all the
fields show up!!

Any suggestions anyone? I guess it has to be caching that is the problem -
but I darned if I can think how/why or how to cure it.
