Samuel,

The answer to 1 is in the preferences. Go to Window -> preferences -> Remote
Systems -> iSeries -> LPEX editor parsers -> ILE RPG and RPG400. Most, if not
all, of what you want is there.

I don't know of a way to get the other features for you unless it's through
user actions.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Smart Enter in RPGLE; Code Assist; Duplicate Current
Line

Happy Code/400 user trying to adapt to the new world...

   1) In the Code Editor, when I'm entering, say, new RPGLE C-Specs, after I
press enter I get a new line with a C and the the cursor placed in a
sensible place (I can even choose where in the options).

With the LPEX editor I just seem to get a new line. I see in the help of
the SEU profile that enter maps to "openline", but I've no clue how to
change that, or what to change it to. Is there some smart enter function?

Right now I'm entering SQL. The code editor would enter the C+ for me,
and put the cursor below the first chararter on the preceeding line. I
   miss this...

   2) And not that it bothers me greatly, but code assist doesn't have
   C/EXEC SQL or C/END-EXEC.

   3) Code Editor also has a Ctrl-Y to quickly duplicate the current line.
I can't fnd any equivalent in the LPEX editor. It would also be nice in
the Java editor, but I can't find it there either.
