The workaround for now:

1. Copy the old workspace that has LPEX preferences.
2. Manually copy in all project folders from the other workspace.
3. Open the newly copied workbench.
4. Add the projects in as Simple projects.
5. Manually reconfigure connections.
6. Recreate my iEdit perspective.

This is an ugly, ugly thing.  I'm just glad that the workbench is smart
enough to recognize that a project already exists and create one of the
appropriate type based on the information in the .project file.
