The validators are different than the compiler/builders although the 
concept is the same.  They are for things that do not get compiled, like 
XML validation.

If your option is grayed out, then it means the other preference we 
mentioned is not checked.  Without that other preference turned on, the 
validators do not get a chance to run.

Hi Peter,

I'll check this Monday at work.

I was however looking at Window/Preferences/Validation/Run validation
automatically...

At home this is checked... at work it is greyed out ?
