Sorry, I got two threads mixed up. Here is the one I am talking about:

http://archive.midrange.com/wdsci-l/200311/msg00044.html

And it looks like I never did respond to David's question to me.

<David>
Unfortunately the help for the template support is pretty minimal. We'll
have to do more work on that. The free-form restriction was made because
there are a number of technical issues that need consideration beyond that
scope and there was not enough time to deal with them appropriately in the
release. The code that you put in your template doesn't effect how it is
processed at the code-assist level. I suspect that the editor going wacky
has something to do with the parser or syntax checker having problems with
the inserted code. If you've got time, could you try doing the insertion
(comments included) with syntax checking off?
</David>

I have "Automatic syntax checking off" if that is what you are talking
about. It must be set to off by default because that is how I found it and
I didn't know it existed before you mentioned it.

FYI - This is the thread that locks up my keyboard only while in the LPEX
editor. All other applications work just fine.

Aaron,

I am assuming you are talking about the problem you have with verifying?
This should not affect the content (code) assist function so can you
provide Dave with some more details on this?

Thanks.
