Thread-topic: 5.0 verify really slow

Does anyone know what might cause code verify to be extremely slow?  I have a 
relatively small program (589 lines) that I'm working on.  If I select verify 
from the source drop down it takes 1 - 2 minutes to perform the verify.  If I 
compile it only takes 5 - 10 seconds.  Why the difference?
