Annoying feature - how do I turn it off? -- WDSCI-L

I use long field names quite often and whenever I type "..." after the field
name two boxes pop up on my screen stating how the extended stuff works, and
I have to hit Escape to get rid of them.  Can this be turned off?  I looked
in the LPex settings but didn't see anything.
