I have tested the lock up in 5.0 after Disabling Parsing, and it did not lock up or slow down at all, but it is not as pretty as it is color coded. Now... I did test it under the 5.1 version, and it worked perfectly, with the Parsing turned on. It is also faster, more stable, and the command key that writes your program for you automatically is absolutely amazing. OK - The last bit is not true but the rest is... To disable the parser do the following: go into the preferences and click on the LPEX Editor node, there should be a check box Disable Parsing, check that . I am also working with Mike to make sure that version 5.1 behaves better with syntax checker and parser enabled.
