I have tested the lock up in 5.0 after Disabling Parsing, and it did not
lock up or slow down at all, but it is not as pretty as it is color coded.

Now...  I did test it under the 5.1 version, and it worked perfectly, with
the Parsing turned on.  It is also faster, more stable, and the command key
that writes your program for you automatically is absolutely amazing.  OK -
The last bit is not true but the rest is...

I worked with Mike outside of the Newsgroup and it looks like that
disabling the parser will avoid the locking of the editor.
To disable the parser do the following:
go into the preferences and click on the LPEX Editor node, there
should be a check box Disable Parsing, check that .


I am also working with Mike to make sure that version  5.1 behaves better
with syntax checker and parser enabled.
