I got all excited to try that, until I got to the preference screen and realized I had already turned it off. Can it be related to color coding and not the actual syntax checking? Under Window preferences Remote systems iSeries LPEX Editor Parsers ILE/RPG or whatever language you use uncheck the Automatic syntax checking check box In the WDSC V5.1 version we have made several changes that should improve the behavior of the syntax checker.
