> DDM is running even though verify shows "Record Access" failed. I think that is the problem. In 5.0, to open source they use the Record Access server. I am not sure how you start it, but I think it is STRTCPSVR *DDM. In 4.0. they used a technique that involved the IFS, that is why that QPWFSERVER *AUTL mattered. It no longer does. Code/400 has its own custom communications facility which is likely why it works. I read several threads in the archives including: http://archive.midrange.com/wdsci-l/200305/msg00132.html I found nothing in any of the mentioned .log files, nothing in the QRWTSRVR joblog. DSPNETA showed DDM request access set to *OBJAUT. QPWFSERVER AUTL has *PUBLIC *USE. DDM is running even though verify shows "Record Access" failed. I installed the PTFs listed on < http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=715&context=SSZND2&q=&uid=swg21 044473> WDSI Version 5.0, Build ID: 20030424_1135, Features shows version 5.0.1 IFS access is working, just not QSYS.LIB source files. I've tried refreshing lists to see if that would help. I rebooted my PC. I opened the Communication Daemon and reentered my username and password then verified PTFs (The only ones missing are the two phantoms that don't exist.) I'm not sure what else to check for. I'm sure this used to work! The program is so slow that I rarely use it. I wanted to be able to see more on one screen than SEU will show, though. I'm open to ideas! Thanks. (I just realized the CODE editor works, so I'm using that now. Odd that the other doesn't work though.) _______________________________________________ This is the Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries (WDSCI-L) mailing list To post a message email: WDSCI-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/wdsci-l or email: WDSCI-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/wdsci-l.
