It is called FRED. You can get to it here: http://www7b.software.ibm.com/wsdd/products/fred/fred.html Jim Essinger <esinger@xxxxxxxx> Sent by: wdsci-l-bounces+markp=softlanding.com@xxxxxxxxxxxx 08/15/2003 11:48 AM Please respond to Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries To: wdsci-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx cc: Subject: [WDSCI-L] View in table - Thanks IBM - Request System Info: iSeries V5R2, using WDSC for iSeries; Version 5.0 Build id: 20030424_1135. Windows XP Pro 1 gig memory Thank you IBM for the "view in table" options and the ability to drill down from library to member to source code, and take actions on them. Also _very_ helpful is the view of the fields in a file. I can see the fields as I code. NICE! I would like to be able to customize the view of fields, adding columns (alias for us COBOL programmers) and rearranging the order they show. I would also like to be able to drag a field entry from the display to my program, and have it put the name of the field in, and maybe even have it know if I want the alias (with the COBOL characters substituted) or the regular field name. Another way would be to allow the programmer to drag the normal name or the alias name from the list to the program. I know that there is a place to make those requests on the web, I've seen the messages go by. Can you direct me to that place so I can enter my request?
