I totally agree with you, 5.0.1 fixpack is complicated. We have WSAD installed here as well. I was advised to install parts of the WSAD 5.0.1 fixpack and parts of the WDSc one. By the time I was finished I pretty much didn't know what I had upgraded to. (That install was so complicated I have resisted introducing it to most of my colleagues. I evangelize on my own time and I really don't have time to baby-sit.) 2) Remember most of us have the "cheap" version but we don't necessarily know what it is called. Please don't confuse us in the installation instructions if there are differing version options. 3) Test the install on some underpowered machines. Thanks. _______________________________________________ This is the Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries (WDSCI-L) mailing list To post a message email: WDSCI-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/wdsci-l or email: WDSCI-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/wdsci-l. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- The following message has been automatically added by the mail gateway to comply with a Royal & SunAlliance IT Security requirement.
