By using symbolic links, I've managed to get Tomcat to use my old directory structure (I added four links, and everything worked great), and I am working on a technique to do the same with WAS5X. I'll be doing a session at iSeries DevCon in Las Vegas on this topic, and touching on it in my August Weaving Websphere column at MCPressOnline as well. Joe
