It's late on the day before a holiday here, so I will try to help. It seems that The option you are selecting had to do with C code not RPG IV. You might want to try the archives or the help text and make sure what that option does. On second look I tried the archives and couldn't find it in a hurry. So it is just my memory HTH, Dave Boettcher -----Original Message----- From: DeLong, Eric [mailto:EDeLong@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, July 03, 2003 4:19 PM To: 'WDSCI-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [WDSCI-L] How to convert to RPGIV free-form Ok, I've been trying to figure this out all afternoon, and I'm not making any progress. I wanted to convert one of my sample program to /free, but I can't get Code/400 to do it. I've loaded my source into Code, from Actions, I select the "Convert all to C Free-Form" option. Code creates an empty member with a message at the bottom saying "File "C:\Program" has been created." That's all I get, nor can I see any warnings or messages. I know others have this working, but so far for me, no dice..... This version of Code came from WDSC 4.0. (I'll be upgrading to 5.0 very soon, but I'd like to figure this out before I upgrade....)
