I've experienced several of the previously mentioned problems.

1) Edit a member from RSE and save it, then immediately compile it, only to have the iSeries Error List view indicate that the member contains no records. This definitely would seem to be a timing issue, as I can usually compile it again right away (without typing a space or anything in the source) with the expected results. This problem is the least worrisome, because at least I'm made aware that it happened and can easily resolve it by compiling again.

2) Edit a member from RSE and save it. Open the same member again from RSE and see that my changes are there. Compiles fine . . . but without my changes. Open the same member on the iSeries . . . no changes. This is the troubling problem, because there is nothing to tell me that it happens (other than my program not working).

Considering the many advantages of working in WDSc (and I'm discovering more all the time), I've learned to live with these issues, and some other minor bugs. But if IBM hopes for iSeries developers to make the move en masse, I would think that these "minor annoyances" should be given high priority. Everytime a potential convert has the bad luck to run into one of these on his maiden WDSc voyage, it will probably result in one more who opts to stick with the green team.
