If you select a remote object (after you do a Show Remote Objects action) then you will see remote properties in the Properties view. If you select an object that happens to be both local and remote, you will only see local properties. Just FYI, the property view is meant to be used for simple properties that you typically use on a constant basis. It is not meant for complicated properties that need a lot of configuring. If a given object has extensive properties, then the Properties Page is the location for editing/displaying properties. Again, consistancy across WDSC. You may argue that Description is indeed a common use property, which I guess it is, and we can take that as a to-do, but you have to release that when the object is both local and remote, displaying all properties in the properties view will be tricky. Remember, the changes that you do under an iSeries project are local, and only propagate back to the iSeries host on a push. If we allow Description in the Properties view, and you have a local and remote object, which description are you changing? the local or remote? The design of iSeries projects is that your local copy is your Master copy, and so it should take precedence, but the distiction should always be clear. > Additionally, is there a way to enable the "Show in Table" feature for > iSeries Projects. If not, are there plans to enable this feature in the > future? Currently no. But feature captured. Mazen Faraj iSeries Projects development, WDSC Toronto Lab.
