Hello,

I was wondering if there is a way to get RSE to load Code/400 through a
Citrix Terminal Server? I tried getting this to work back on WDSC 4.0 and I
was told that WDSC didn't work well with a terminal server. WDSC 4.0 had
problems loading the Communication Daemon.

However, now that I am on WDSC 5.0, I am trying to get it to work in Citrix
once more. WDSC 5.0 does work better in Citrix than 4.0. 5.0 lets me load
the communication daemon, issue STRCODE from the 5250 session, and it does
run CODE/400 when called through windows.

BUT here is the problem I am getting. When I try to open Code/400 through
the RSE (right click source; open with Code/400), I get the following error
message. EVFC2030W The RSE connection AS400 could not be registered with
code communication. Under Details is says: To launch the CODE tools from
the Workbench RSE connections must be registered with CODE communications.
Possible cause: The limit of 20 servers from the CODE communications has
been reached. Delete some of the servers from the CODE communication
console or stop and restart the CODE communication daemon.

I tried this on a local copy of WDSC and it looks like RSE adds a R0AS400
server to the communication console. I can manually add a server through
the communication console in Citrix, but it won't let RSE add the
connection.

Does anyone know why RSE can't add the server through a Citrix Terminal
Server? Is there anyway to fix this?

I am trying to use RSE PDM instead of going to the green screen.

Thanks,
Steve
