Hi Paul,

Which search utility are you using?   Is this the local workspace search or
are you searching on a remote host?   On the remote host are you searching
the QSYS or IFS?   If you need to search the contents of files in the IFS,
although this is fairly loosely integrated, you could use the "grep"
command from a shell in the Remote Commands view.  For example, you could
type "grep -n <pattern> <file pattern>".   The integrated shell inteprets
grep output so that you can double-click on a line of output to jump into
the associated source in an editor.

Does anyone know how to get the search utility to search through the
subfolders?  We have an intranet site where we have quite a few net.data
macros(do not make fun all of you java programmers) :-)  We need to search
through the files for certain strings.

If the search utility does not do this then this needs to be an added
feature, just for me!
