In my experience, the WDSC compile is just executing the create command for you. I do not see how it would be slow or error-prone. You could always have it submit to batch if you did not want to tie up your PC. I have not had that problem with the error list either. You might try setting the view to not show Information messages if you have programs that are generating lots of feedback. Mark "Bartell, Aaron L. I want to know if anybody else is having this problem. After the compile completes (successfully or un-successfully) the iSeries Error List pops up. From this point on it seems WDSc goes into slow motion and eventually pukes (requiring a restart of WDsc). I have given the compile from WDSc a decent chance, but it is just so slow and error prone, yuck! Anybody else have this problem? Any settings I can change to speed things up or fix problems?
