Don't know. I'd think that the number matters. I've seen it take much
longer to resolve the members of a source file with many members than with
a few, both in CODE and in RSE. I don't know if the connections are
persistent - If not, that takes time every time.
Another issue is sort order, which requires either a keyed repository or
getting the whole list. For members, there are the system catalogs, of course.
