I use the Quantum SQL Plugin. It really rocks. I'm not familiar with the
ones you mention but here is some of the connection information I needed to
provide.

The connect string is - jdbc:as400://192.168.0.2; translate binary=true
(converts CCSID 65535)
The driver is - com.ibm.as400.access.AS400JDBCDriver
The path to the driver file for me is - c:\program files\ibm\client
access\jt400\lib\jt400.jar

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Mark

Hi group,

I installed the newest and bestest version of WDSCI earlier this week (no
problem whatsoever during install or updates! Win2K on P4 2.5 GHz with
512MB ram) and I think it is ok, but definitely slower than CODE/400.

However, I noticed that there exist some plugins for SQL access to the
iSeries data, namely EasySQL and PHPEclipse SQL.

As this could be very interesting for us, I tried them, and they installed
ok, but now I am totally not able to connect to the iSeries.

Which driver and driver JAR file do I have to specify? ?The plugins have no
help related to this, and ?I could not find anything on the WWW.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

TIA,
