I've been unable to use RSE to open members with the Code Editor. (Well,
they would open but it took 3-4 minutes and I'm not that patient.) I think
I've solved the problem--it appears to be related to the current library
of the auto-connect server that is created for you by RSE.

Here's what I did to fix it:

   Started the Studio Client/RSE

Right clicked on my remote system icon (it's just above iSeries Object.
   Mine is named Bronze.)

   Click on Properties

   Click Subsystems

   Click iSeries Commands tab

Enter a Current Library (your personal library). The default is *USRPRF
and I don't have one on my user profile. I think it then defaults to QGPL,
which on our system is *USE to everyone.

(In "Initial Command" I also entered a call to a program to set my library
   list.)

   Closed the Client/RSE

Right clicked the Communication Daemon in my system tray

   Clicked properties

Clicked on server R0BRONZE (automatically created by RSE)

   Clicked delete

   Clicked OK

   Right clicked the Communication Daemon

   Clicked Close

   Started the Communication Daemon

   Started the Studio Client/RSE

Now I can quickly open source members with the Code Editor. I hope it
   lasts...

I started down this track because I saw references to QGPL in the
Communication Daemon Error Log. I believe some of you had the similar
problems. If this solves your, please let me know.
