Arron & Mark, Unfortunately, case-sensitivity was something we missed for RPG content-assist in WDSc 5.0. After reading your reply, I tried a couple things in my dev driver to be more respectful of case. Basically, during the completion processing, I put in code to detect the case around the cursor, and, based on the case, completions use either caps or lowercase. This won't yet deal with mixed case, but should hopefully resolve most annoyances. We'll get this into an update (or whatever it's called now) soon. By the way, great suggestions - keep them coming! ____________________________________ David McKnight Phone: 905-413-3902 , T/L: 969-3902 Internet: dmcknigh@xxxxxxxxxx Mail: D1/643/8200/TOR ____________________________________ |---------+----------------------------> | | "Bartell, Aaron | | | L. If you have the outline view populated, then you get very nice code completion in the editor on everything. Such as field name completions on an EVAL or file/format names on a CHAIN. For fields, it even tells you the type and length. Very nice! </Mark> I just got WDSc 5.0 installed and also like that feature. . . except. . . it doesn't retain the case that I used on my variable when I declared it!!!! Please tell me there is a setting to change this to retain the case of my variables for the code completion portion. If not this piece is useless to me. Who codes in all caps anymore?? AARON BARTELL oops, I mean Aaron Bartell;-) _______________________________________________ This is the Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries (WDSCI-L) mailing list To post a message email: WDSCI-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo.cgi/wdsci-l or email: WDSCI-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/wdsci-l.
