That happened to me when someone tried to remove my admin privledges on my workstation. Restoring admin rights corrected the problem for me. I work on W2K SP3. The windows task manager does not show it running at all and no msg. are logged to the Event Viewer. Does anyone have any idea what is happening or suggestions on how to detect what is happening.
