Not sure what you mean by "importing", but if you are opening a source member from a place that is not a member on the iSeries, you have to specify if the source has sequence numbers. From your example you are not doing this. In the CODE/400 File/Open dialog there is a check box entitled "Contains sequence numbers" in the upper left corner.
