Ric, Check that you don't have a userid / password specified in the CODE communications properties settings. To do this go to Start -> Programs -> WebSphere Development Studio Client for iSeries -> Communications -> Communications Console. Select STRCODE settings and check under Advanced Settings if there is a STRCODE userid ID / password specified. If so then you either need to specify this user id / password on the STRCODE command or delete them from the communications console. Hope this helps. However, once inside the code editor, I try to start up debug by clicking on the icon and I am getting the following errors: EVF2167E - No interactive STRCODE sessions are available for debug. Please issue STRCODE from an interactive session and try again. So I go to the green screen and issue STRCODE and it errors out with 2 messages... EVC4021I - Communication Daemon - A connection request from system ' *NONAME' has been received. EVF4028E - Communication Daemon - Connection from system '*NONAME' has been ended by the daemon. CODE userid '*NONE' is not allowed to connect. I have also attempted to prompt the STRCODE command on the AS/400 command line and enter in my user ID and password, but to no avail. Can anyone help here? Using Win2K Pro with lots of horsepower and memory, etc... so those are obviously not issues. Also, I believe I have FixPack2 on WDSCi installed. Thanks, Ric Richard A.
