SQLRPGLE Program Support is Inadequate

Code Editor support for RPG with embedded SQL is not ideal.

If I get errors in the pre-compiler, the error messages don't seem to line up
with the source lines in error.

If the error occurs in the regular compile, when you try to merge the errors
into the source another listing is downloaded and a new editor window opens.
You then have to jump back and forward between the error listing window and
the real source.  Again, the sequence numbers don't match.

The error listing window is also editable and I find myself occasionally
making corrections in it.  At least it could be made read only to protect me
from myself.

(I understand that you are somewhat at the mercy of whoever writes the SQL
Precompiler, which doesn't seem to have been keeping anywhere close to the RPG
compiler and other tools.  If there is someone in that group who needs to know
about our unhappiness and needs, please let me know.)
