Y'all

I need to browse a source member - someone else is working on it but I need
the information in it. How do I open source read-only in RSE? I have looked
in help, searched under "read-only", under "browse", looked in "How do
I...". Nothing!

CODE Project Organizer had the Browse option when you right-click a member
- not obvious that it's available in RSE.

THE BUG (?)---
In a related vein, if I open a member from QSYSINC with LPEX Edit, I get
what appears to be a fatal error (something failed) RSEF1002E. Then the
member is displayed in the LPEX pane. This behavior is NOT pretty. Members
in QSYSINC are SUPPOSED to be read-only, first of all. It does not do this
if opened with CODE Edit.

Thanks
