Hi David,

In the original design, you would have used the Eclipse Modeling Framework
(EMF) to model your own subsystem with attrributes and generate the code
(we provided the String APIs as an easy means to create a subsystem
without having to use EMF).

However, the EMF stuff is changing for open RSE (the Eclipse based RSE) so
I wouldn't recommend going down that path now. Instead just use your own
storage mechanism and store it in either the private plug-in metadata area
(if it doesn't need to be shared) or the Remote Systems Connections folder
for your subsystem (if it does need to be shared).

Subject
[Wdsc-Plugin-Dev] Storing complex data with Subsystem?

Folks:

Does anyone know how to store complex information in a subsystem?

I know about the get & set VendorAttribute methods in SubSystemImpl ...
but I want to be able to store more complex data that can simply be
stored in a string.

Thanks!

david
