My i comment was simply that you're not likely to find a shopping cart
that can store to the i (mysql route withstanding)...
Actually there are native i shopping carts (BCD Websmart tool has one & I
know their tool is used in a number of on-line sales sites, including code
for using a online payment gateway (so you are not capturing the card &
subject to PCI).
I'm sure there are others.
Mike - If these trans are not "real shopping cart", then your own screens
could do, with some scripting, you can pass all the parms for the sales to a
payment gateway (authorize.net, paypal, etc), they handle all the card
auth/settle & the security. I would not want to take on the requirements of
PCI, and the liability associated with processing on your server if you are
not already doing it.
I've renewed my car licenses in NC online for years - no cart - one car at a
time.
