Don't quote me on this but I don't think LINQ to SQL works with the iSeries
database (will read up on it again). Either way you would definitely need
the .NET Framework version 3.5 as this is the only version that contains
LINQ

Subject: [SystemiDotNet] Linq with the I

I have been asked by the powers that be to determine what it would
take to talk to an iSeries database from .NET using LINQ. Is there
special software required? A version of the .net framework?

Thanks,

Mark
