Dear Mary

It would be worthwhile to upgrade System21.

However, we list below one of our customers 's experience. The System21
updated was Version 3.5.2 2C and the AS/400 O/S version was V5R4. If you are
under Infor Xtreme valid maintenance it would be easy. Otherwise you will be
signing with new authorization codes for IBM 6.1

Infor had released another version System21 version 6, may be useful for
this purpose

Before migrating to IBM AS/400 6.1, the following would be required.

1. Upgrade the OS to V4R4
2. Upgrade DB2/400 to the required level properly.
3. Apply PTF to System21 to bring it to the level 352C SP4.
4. The Source Codes of System21 is required

5. New System21 authorization codes and installation CD's from Infor
6. New System21 Manager Module to be purchased from Infor ( May be included
in the new transformation licience fees), compatible with IBM 6.1

7. OSL Programs may have to recompiled in the new AS/400, if the
observe-ability of source codes fail.
8. Infor has routines to migrate with documentations

The above are my recollections.

The best option is to migrate to Infor 10 System21 Aurora 2.4

The best option would be to migrate to Infor System21 Aurora 2.4 or the
latest.

Has anyone done a V6R1 upgrade with version 3.5.1 version of System 21? If
so, can you describe the issues, problems, length of time it took, etc.

Thank You very much.

Mary
