Dear Anuj

You don't have to get alarmed.

1. The Sales Order Processing sales invoice postings are controlled merely
by the Inventory Management Calendar, and not by the Accounts Receivable
Period.

2. You will have to execute the Inventory Month End each period, then the
Inventory Period gets automatically rolled up.

3. Of couse the about process might taken more than three hours as System21
perform other month end rotuines such as the closing balance of current
period becomes opening balance of the next period in INP60. INP80 Stockroom
details history is created etc etc.

4. Now your current period is 10/12. I assume that this is the last
Financial Period of the Year.

5. Then Year should get automatically rolled up to 11. Otherwise you will
fine that 11/01 transactions get posted to 10/01.

6. The Year End option in INW would have to be executed without making any
amendments to the prompted calendar screen

Regards

Kugendran

Could anyone please help us on it?

The following menu is under 4/INE. It shows the detail of a sales
transaction and the period is showing as period 11 that the sales from
today
are coming off as period 1011, they should be 1012. I had an issue last
night with rolling inventory and as I could not risk rolling inventory
twice, I came in this morning to check if inventory had actually rolled. I
actioned a stock transfer and the period still showed as 1011, so I
manually
actioned both 2/INC (which took about 3 hours) and then 3/INW.

However, the stock transfers I did this morning, after 'rolling'
inventory,
are showing as period 12?!

What about your A/R period. Check file SLP00.
If I recall, you need to close the A/R period and then open period 12 in
A/R for sales to post in inventory movements under the proper period.
