Greetings,
A client is
contemplating canceling their maintenance for System 21 and AutoRelease.
Infor
has told them that all source from both Infor and any mods they made to their code
must be removed from their machine.
Has any one else, no longer under maintenance, been told such a thing...?
Does anyone have such a clause in their contract...?
If so, is it even enforceable...?
Can you really be expected to pay for your software forever...?
I thought this problem went away with Harry Debes...!
(He's now over at Lawson Software making 3.14 million/year.)
