Mrp72 will contain all MRP generated demand.
Mrp73 is the file for suggested MRP schedules to meet the demand based on
your production item set up.
Start at fg item. There should be demand (mrp72) showing on the left from
the feeding system you use. On the right is the MRP schedule to fill that
(mrp73).
Now go to a component that is consumed by the fg. You should see the
scheduled qty now show on the left side of the component as demand.
Thanks,
Randy

subject: [SYSTEM21] Would the real demand please stand up ?
Is there a single database file in JBA/System 21 that contains actual
MRP/MPS demand ? I am having a hard time pinning down exactly where demand
is stored in this system. I thought MSP72 was the file, which it seems to be
for finished goods (I may be wrong there) but where is the demand for lower
level items, MSP73 ? Because I have a finished goods item with records in
MSP72, but the lower level item demand seems to be in MSP73.
TIA. Jim.
