If it helps any...
We have created our own EDI system direct to our Logistics company.
Transfers Delivery Notes/Picking Notes 5x/day.
Set up in STRM400 so can be run more often.
Set up dependant on Stockroom.

This involves minor changes to OE340 (suite) & creation of new pgm
(basically a modified version of OE341.

We then also receive the POD's this way with a modified OE120Y.
Transfers PoD's 5x/day.

subject: [SYSTEM21] iSeries Package Shipping

Is anyone using Logicor (previously Pfastship) or any other software
package to do your package shipping? I'd be very interested in talking
to you.

We currently use Varsity Logistics for this and just received a huge
unexpected increase, over the thousands of dollars that we already pay,
for our yearly maintenance. We have no choice but to pay it or look
for
another vendor and I believe the choices are very limited.

Has anyone created their own interface from/to the iSeries using
something like ODBC to/from the stand alone systems that FedEx and/or
UPS supplies? I know this is possible with UPS but I'm not sure about
FedEx.

Please feel free to call or email me off of this forum if you'd like.

Thanks in advance.
