It sounds like your Purchase Order was received with a different Unit of
Measure.  

In an example, I have a P.O. with a quantity of 25 EA.   

I received 1 DZ (Dozen).  (43/PMP)

The conversion factor multiplies out the quantity to 12 EA.  

The P.O. receipt has a quantity of 12 EA.

Inventory has a Physical Quantity of 12 EA.  

But, the Inventory movement is for 1 DZ.

 

I would say check the unit of measure on the receipt in Inventory
(4/INE)

Dear List,

 

Has anyone ever encountered problems during receiving such that user is

receiving, say, 115K and this will reflect in the item movements inquiry

but the resulting balance is wrong and becomes 355K (assuming balance

before receiving is 0). The inventory then reflects the wrong 355K qty.
