Running a task from within a program

Hi, any advice on the following would be much appreciated;

I need to run Batch Allocation from within a CL program.  I've created a Task 
that contains only the required part of that task (OE320CLP), and will do an 
EXAMTASK having first primed the LDA with the criteria required.

My problem is;
I want the task to run within the CL program, not be submitted from it.  Is 
there some way I can control that?  I believe I have to place OE320CLP in the 
BATCH part of the task, but if I do that, won't it get submitted?
