Donna I can probably help you - I need to dig into my notes & I'll get back to you. I believe it will be fairly straightforward. Cheers Glen ----- Original Message ----- From: Thomas, Donna To: JBAUSERS-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, July 28, 2004 12:05 PM Subject: [SYSTEM21] Vertex Upgrade We are currently using release 3.5.0b of JBA and release 3.5.03 of Vertex. We need to upgrade to release 4.0 of Vertex, but have no plans to upgrade the JBA software. The Vertex modifications are fairly extensive, including a whole new program for tax calculation (program VTS111 instead of VTS110). Our version of the JBA software did not include an interface to Vertex, so JBA wrote(?) an interface for us. The interface uses programs such as OE850U, and files such as SLP05U. I'm guessing this interface is what was included in base JBA in later releases. Has anyone else gone through a similar upgrade process and if so, would you be willing to share any information?
